Micha Kaplan is an Israeli composer, band leader, bassist and producer. He was born 1975 in Tel Aviv. Since the 90s he is linked as a bassist with alternative rock scene in his home town. He moved to Berlin in 2000 to study double bass at the Universität der Künste with Prof. R. Zepperitz.
Micha Kaplan is active as a composer, bassist and producer in various projects covering many different music genres.
He worked among others with Esther Ofarim, Daniel Barenboim, „NETANYA" „Ofrin", „Mari Mana" und „Planningtorock".
Since 2010 he composes and performs in theaters. He worked at Berliner Volksbühne, DT Berlin, Schauspiel Stuttgart, Theater Neumarkt Zürich, Teatr Powszechny Warsaw, Theater Magdeburg, Theater St.Gallen, Theater Oberhausen, HAU Berlin.
