Mariia Borysova

Mariia Borysova was born in Kyiv. She studied cultural studies and worked as a project manager in the fields of culture, education, and urban studies. She has always been interested in the topic of the city as a complex phenomenon, and how people co-create it through their daily practices. Since 2021, Mariia has been creating audio-walks and is a resident of the City Theatre artistic association (Kyiv, Ukraine). Mariia currently lives in Berlin. In 2023 she presented an audio-walk in Kreuzberg within the Drift! festival. Since workshop in Gorki Theater Mariia tries writing in a format of short texts.
