Luna Ali, born in 1993, studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice in Hildesheim, literary writing at the German Literature Institute and anthropology at the University of Leipzig. She has worked as an author on productions at the Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Hanover theatres and in Berlin, among others. In 2023 she received the working scholarship for German-language literature from the Berlin Senate Department. She lives in Berlin with her five flatmates.
