Krzysztof Minkowski (born in 1980 in Szczecin, Poland), studied theatre directing at the »Ernst Busch« drama school in Berlin. His graduation production The Heron Queen. A Rap by Dorota Masłowska was shown at Maxim Gorki Theater and at Kaltstart Festival in Hamburg. He directed plays in Germany, Poland, Denmark and Switzerland. His production of Tschechows Three Sisters in Jelenia Góra was invited to the Warsaw theatre festival. In 2010 he directed Homer’s Ilias at Heimathafen Neukölln in cooperation with refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, Krzysztof Minkowski has been working as director in different prisons in Berlin for several years. Recently, he directed Ivasion by Jonas Hassen Khemiri at Luzerner Theater. His latest production was Tartuffe by Molière at Theater Magdeburg.
