Klara Deutschmann was born in Hamburg in 1989. From 2010, she studied acting at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater in Leipzig and joined the studio at the Central Theater in 2012. The production The Great March (director: Sebastian Hartmann) received the Award of the Federal Ministry of Education and Culture in 2013.
Between 2014-2016 she was an ensemble member at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Since then, she has worked as a regular guest at Schauspiel Hannover, with Claudia Bauer and Sascha Hawemann, among others. In 2016, she plays a leading role in the series Charité (director: Sönke Wortmann), which wins the German Television Award, among others.
She then worked with directors such as Viviane Naefe, Christian Schwochow and Francis Meletzky. In 2024, she stepped in for the production of Der Untertan at the Maxim Gorki Theater. She can currently be seen in Brasch - das Alte geht nicht und das neue auch nicht, directed by Lena Brasch.
