Julia Riedler, born in Salzburg in 1990, studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. In the final year of her studies, Julia Riedler performed at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and received the Boy Gobert award for young artists in 2013. She was a member of the fixed ensemble at the Schauspiel Köln and, from 2015-2020, at the Münchner Kammerspiele, where she received the award for the promotion of young artists from the Verein zur Förderung der Münchner Kammerspielen, as well as the AZ-Stern des Jahres for best actress in 2016, and the Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis in 2017. She has shot a variety of film and television productions in Austria, Germany and France and performed as a voice actor in numerous radio plays. Established as a freelancer since 2020, she’s worked at venues including the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin, Burgtheater Wien and the Münchner Kammerspiele. Riedler is a permanent member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble. In the 2023/24 season, she can be seen in Die Räuberinnen, a takeover of the Münchner Kammerspiele, directed by Leonie Böhm.
