Jana Findeklee

The visual artist team of Jana Findeklee and Joki Tewes have worked together on set, costume and video design for theatre and opera since 2007.

Through costume design they shaped their joint productions with Frank Castorf at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Volksbühne in Berlin, Vienna Festival and, most recently, at the Residenztheater in Munich with Kasimir and Karoline. Together with Sebastian Baumgarten, Christian Weise, Christoph Frick, Jetske Mijnssen and Paul Georg Dittrich, they have worked for theatres and operas in Zurich, Freiburg, Stuttgart, Bremen, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. Their production of Brecht's Saint Joan of the Stockyards was invited to Berlin for the Theatertreffen festival in 2013.

In February 2017, their first joint production with Stefan Bachmann, William Tell, was premiered in Basel.
