Political scientist Siba N. Grovogui is the director of the Africana Studies and Research Center at Cornell University. His work offers a long-standing focus on non-Western perspectives on (dis)order in the relationship between states and governments. In publications such as “Beyond Eurocentrism and Anarchy: Memories of International Order and Institutions”, he examines the changing traditional stakeholders in international relations. His research interests include political theory, transnationalism and diaspora. Born in Guinea, Grovogui obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and until 2014 held a professorship at Johns Hopkins University.
