Ali Fathollah-Nejad

Mehdi Moradpour, born in Tehran, is an author and interpreter/translator for Persian and Spanish. He lives in Germany since 2001. His play pure land was nominated 2013 for the Munich Prize for German Drama. In June 2015 he was awarded the Jury Prize of the 3rd competition of Theaters St. Gallen and Konstanz for mummies (premiere April 2016 at Theater Konstanz, Swiss premiere June 2016 in St. Gallen). His texts and pieces have been played at Münchner Kammerspiele, Maxim Gorki Theater, Deutsche Oper (Tischlerei) (again with chemo brother, premiere April 2016), TAG (Vienna), Prince Charles and Brotfabrik Berlin. Currently he is attending FORUM TEXT 2014 - 2016, the support program for playwriting at uniT Graz.
