Ibadet Ramadani Gallop was born in 1976 and grew up in Germany and Kosovo.
She studied art in New York, music at the Amsterdam Conservatory and Islamic studies in Cologne. Since 2003 she lives in Berlin, where she founded the band Super700 together with bassist Michael Haves. The band released several albums and toured internationally.
Ramadani has also been involved in various film soundtracks as a songwriter and singer. Most recently she composed and sang the title song Kommst du mit mir for the TV series Pregau - Kein Weg zurück. With her jazz group Ibadet Ramadani & Band she performed at the Filmfest Eberswalde in 2017. She also appeared as a singer in the radio play Tot in New York by Peer Raben and Jean-Jacques Schuhl. At Gorki she can be seen for the first time in Maria by Simon Stephens, directed by Nurkan Erpulat.
