Hassan Akkouch was born in Lebanon in 1988 and graduated from the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. Before he finished his studies, he was already performing in theatre productions, working in film and television, and involved in acrobatics, breakdance and rap. From 2006 to 2009, he was the protagonist in Neukölln Unlimited, an award-winning documentary following him and his siblings throughout Neukölln. Akkouch has appeared on stages in Berlin and Munich at venues including the Münchner Kammerspiele, HAU, Ballhaus Naunynstraße and Gorki, where he showed his dance performance Der Mann, der über seinen Schatten springen wollte by Nevin Aladağ, as part of the first Berliner Herbstsalon. Akkouch is known in film and television for his roles in TV series like Hindafing, 4 Blocks and WaPo Berlin and films including 15 Jahre directed by Chris Kraus, Felix Hermann's Gott ist ein Käfer and Katharina Woll's Alle wollen geliebt werden.
