Dr. Hanna Permien

Hanna Permien was born in 1947 in Hamburg. She studied psychology in Munich and Bochum. During internships accompanying her studies she worked with underprivileged children for the first time. While she was still studying, she started with psychological counseling and advanced training for different target groups.

Since 1974 she is working at the Deutsches Jugendinstitut. There she has worked in various model and practice projects as well as in research of child and youth welfare. In addition to gender aspects, she is also concerned with the dynamics within disadvantaged families.
