Friederike ›Fritzi‹ Ernst is a musician, composer, and lyricist currently based in Hamburg. With her band Schnipo Schranke she has released two albums – Satt in 2015, rare in 2017 – and played concerts around Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After Schnipo Schranke disbanded, Fritzi Ernst released her debut solo album Keine Termine in 2021, produced in collaboration with Ted Gaier from Die Goldenen Zitronen. She has worked as a composer and musician together with Leonie Böhm since 2019, collaborating on plays such as König Teiresias (Theater Basel, 21/22 season) and Johanna (Schauspielhaus Hamburg, 22/23 season). At the Maxim Gorki Theatre, her work as a composer and live musician can be seen in the 23/24 season in Antigone and in Die Räuberinnen, a transfer from the Münchner Kammerspiele.
