Felwine Sarr was born 1972 in Niodior in Senegal. He is a writer, musician and professor for economics at the Gaston Berger Universitat in Saint-Louis, Senegal. In march 2018, the French president Emmanuel Macron asked him together with Bénédicte Savoy to prepare the return of French looted art to Africa. He is considered as one of the most discussed African thinkers.
