Felix Ackermann

Felix Ackermann, born in 1978, grew up in Berlin Mitte, received his doctorate in 2008 in Frankfurt/Oder with Karl Schlögel on the now Belarusian city of Grodno, and taught at the European Humanities University in Vilna from 2011 to 2016. He is currently researching the history of the prison system in divided Poland-Lithuania at the German Historical Institute in Warsaw. Together with Nina Weller, he founded the Voices from Belarus project in August 2020 in response to the electoral fraud in the Republic of Belarus.
