Falilou Seck was born in Chelles in 1966. He studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and became a member of the ensemble at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in 1995. He's performed at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Schauspiel Essen, Volkstheater München, Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin and Schauspiel Frankfurt. In 2007 he was invited to the Epidaurus Festival for his performance in the Oresteia in Frankfurt. The directors he has worked with include Johann Kresnik, Armin Petras, Sebastian Baumgarten, Sascha Hawemann, Michael Thalheimer and Karin Neuhäuser. Falilou Seck was the lead in Lukas Langhoff's staging of Ibsen's An Enemy of the People at the Theater Bonn, which was invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen in 2012. Falilou Seck has been a member of the Gorki ensemble since the 2013/2014 season, taking on roles in numerous productions. The directors he works with include Sebastian Nübling, Mirko Borscht and Christian Weise.
