After initial experiences with the theatre at the Volksbühne Berlin, she studied acting at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam from 2004 to 2008. Eva Bay has worked as a freelance actor since 2009 and has made a name for herself through regular appearances at, among other venues, the Ballhaus Naunynstrasse and Ballhaus Ost and in the independent cinema scene. Since 2016 she’s also appeared there playing one of the leading roles in Sie nannten ihn Tico (text and direction: Nora Abdel-Maksoud).
