Emina Omerović was born in Zagreb in 1992 and graduated from the dramaturgy programme at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. She worked as a dramaturg for plays such as Creeps (Bosnian National Theater Zenica, 2016), My Factory (Bosnian National Theater Zenica, 2017), God of Carnage (The National Theater Mostar, 2017), Snow (National Theater Sarajevo, 2019), Agnesa and Hrabren (MESS Scene, 2019), Ukulele Jam (Bosnian National Theater Zenica, 2020), Seven Terrors (Bosnian National Theater Zenica, 2021), and Purple (Kamerni teatar 55, 2021). Since 2019 she has been part oft he jury of the international school theater festival JUVENTAFEST. She worked on several youth projects as a mentor and workshop leader in various. In addition, Emina Omerović is the co-writer of the feature film Full Moon (2019), directed by Nermin Hamzagić; the film was nominated for the European Discovery 2020 – Prix FIPRESCI.
