Elke von Sivers

Elke von Sivers. Born in Zeitz, raised in Halle-Neustadt. Went to Berlin when she was 18 and completed her studies in fashion design at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin in 1993.
Ever since she has been active as a costume designer for theatre, opera and film, working in Leipzig, Bremen, Hannover, Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Lucerne and Zurich, among others. In film she has worked with directors such as Helene Hegemann, Jovana Reisiger and David Wnendt. Beginning with the film Kombat Sechzehn, ongoing collaboration with Mirko Borscht and, since 2015, with Felix Rothenhäusler.
