Elin Laut, born in 1995, studied costume design at the Berlin University of the Arts through 2023. As a freelance artist, he works on themes of queerness and trans identity in the areas of costume, video, performance and installation. His works have been shown in various art spaces in Berlin, including Radialsystem, DISPLAY, Scherben, Sonntagsclub, the English Theatre, as well as at festivals like 48 Stunden Neukölln. Elin is a co-founder of the critical.costume initiative. I’M A GIRL YOU CAN HOLD IRL is his costume design debut at the Maxim Gorki Theatre. In the 2024/25 season, he will create the stage and costumes for Cyberangel.
