Eleftheria, born in Greece, graduated with honors from the National Conservatoire of Athens at the age of 21, specializing in theatre. She also studied journalism and philosophy at Athens University. Her career as an actor began in both modern and classical theatre.
Her international training includes work with renowned theatre figures such as Romeo and Claudia Castellucci in Frankfurt and Theo Terzopoulos in Delphi, alongside studies in Moscow and London. She has performed at festivals worldwide and has received several awards, including Best Lead Actress at the 2009 Athens International Film Festival for When Fish Fly.
In 2011, Eleftheria moved to Sweden. She has worked as a director and actor at Angereds Teater, with productions like Himmel över Göteborg and Cargo, which won Best Performance of the Year. Since 2017, she has been an actor at Backa Teater in Gothenburg.
Eleftheria speaks six languages (Greek, English, French, Turkish, Russian, and Swedish). Her performances explore themes of migration, social class, race, gender, and geopolitical borders, reflecting her belief that storytelling is a means of survival.
