Edgar Eckert

Edgar Eckert, born in Toronto, grew up in Basel and began his journey on stage at the Junges Theater Basel. He studied acting at a private acting school in Paris and at the University of Music and Theatre »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« in Leipzig. From 2009 to 2013 Eckert was a member of the ensemble at the Centraltheater Leipzig and then he went to Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus for two seasons from 2013/14. Between 2015 and 2020 he was a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and from 2020 to 2023 at the Theater Basel. Edgar Eckert can be seen at the Gorki in Hund, Wolf, Schakal from 2024.
