Semir Mustafa Dedeic (aka Dante Buu), from Montengro, *1987, MRI scholarship holder from February 2021 until September 2022, during scholarship based in Berlin at host organisation Künstlerhaus Bethanien, working between Montenegro and Germany, currently in Berlin.
Dante Buu (Rožaje, Montenegro) is an artist, storyteller and performer who intertwines the autobiographical with the lives of others. Dante’s artistic practice, fluid and playful across mediums, is intimately rooted in the untold stories of love and resistance.
After the scholarship, he went on to a residencies in New York and New Orleans and among others collaborated with Marina Abramović Institute & Royal Theatre Carré, Amsterdam in 2022.
