Catherine Newmark

Philosopher and cultural journalist Catherine Newmark repeatedly deals with questions of power, inequality and gender issues in philosophy. Her most recent book Warum auf Autoritäten hören? analyses the question of how authority emerges and is socially recognised, a question that has become enormously important especially in times of Corona. Newmark is a radio journalist for Deutschlandradio Kultur and Philosophie Magazin.
