Camilla Ferraz, born in Brazil in 1991, first completed her studies at the University of Vienna. She spends the 2014/15 season as a member of the TheaterJahr at the Vienna Burgtheater, where she realizes first small projects in the context of the SchauSpielBar. There she also assists Alia Luque and Nicolas Charaux, among others. She completes her master's degree in 2019 with the project »How to Make a Stranger: Das Haus« at the University of Hildesheim. With this project she analyses above all the representability of cultures and the responsibility of viewers within theatre productions.
Since the 2019/20 season, she has been a permanent assistant director at the Maxim Gorki Theatre, where she works with Sasha Marianna Salzmann, Christian Weise and Yael Ronen, among others.
In October 2020 her project RUN FOREST RUN! will premiere as part of ROUGH & DIRTY in the container of the Gorki Theatre.
As of the 21/22 season, she is a permanent assistant director at the Thalia Theater Hamburg.
