Birgit Michaelis

Birgit Michaelis is an arts and culture scholar. She studied philosophy and North American studies in Berlin, Bayreuth and Worcester, Mass. She curated exhibitions and film screenings. From 2001 to 2017 she was part of the organization team at film festivals. In addition to her work as an event planner, she developed tours and educational trips which she conducted in Germany and Istanbul. Michaelis is currently working in education.
