Banu Güven

Banu Güven, Turkish journalist and TV presenter. Due to the political situation and the restrictions on the freedom of the press in Turkey, she has continued her work in Germany since 2019. For German public media outlets such as WDR and DW, she writes, reports and comments on human rights, migration policies, integration, racism and domestic and foreign policy in Turkey. Over the course of her career, Banu Güven has received many awards, including the 2017 Nannen prize for extraordinary accomplishments in journalism.
