Arto Tunçboyacıyan

Arto Tunçboyacıyan is a Grammy Award-winning percussionist and singer. In his works he fuses Anatolian sounds with those of contemporary Western culture. He has worked with jazz legends such as Chet Baker and Al Di Meola, and composed for the Turkish pop legend Sezen Aksu and her Greek counterpart Eleftheria Arvanitaki. His brother, Onno Tunç, is also a musician and member of Tunçboyacıyan's band Night Ark (founded in 1983).
