Ariane Andereggen

ARIANE ANDEREGGEN *1969 in Aigle, raised by the Bodensee. Actress and artist, works in an extra-disciplinary manner in the areas of performance / video / sound art / drawing / conceptual art / text and photography as well as in collaborations in the independent theatre and performance scene.

From 2013 – 2015 she was a member of the ensemble at the Theater Basel. Together with Ted Gaier (Die Goldenen Zitronen and Schwabinggrad Ballett), she has created artivist projects tackling commodity trading in Switzerland and the de-colonisation of international exchange projects, among other topics, as well as a video essay about class relations called Klassenverhältnisse am Bodensee.

In 2019 she acted in the production of Die Kränkung der Menschheit directed by Anta Helena Recke at the Münchner Kammerspiele and directed her one-woman show Age on Stage in 2020.

She is currently based in Basel and Hamburg.
