The future of flamenco piano – as he was rightly referenced at an early age already -, Antón Cortés Marin (Palma de Mallorca, 2007) began experimenting with the keyboard when he was eight years old. A self-taught artist, taking the great masters of flamenco as a reference, he went through an incredible artistic progression over the last few years. A winner of numerous talent competitions, Antón also creates his own compositions and is known for his creativity, interpretation, and contribution of new expressive forms, marrying tradition and contemporaneity. In October 2023, he received the prestigious Venencia Flamenca, the highest award in the frame of the Flamenco de la Mistela Festival.
