Anton August Dudda, born in Bergisch-Gladbach in 1994, studied philosophy, film studies and, briefly, theater studies at Freie Universität Berlin and then scenic writing at Universität der Künste. He came to the theater through his time as an actor in the youth club of the GRIPS Theater, where he subsequently also absolved an internship and worked as an assistant director. He made his debut as a theater author in 2022 with Komplizen at Theater Lübeck under the direction of Lilly Tiemeyer and has since made numerous contributions to workshop and festival formats. In addition, he has been active for several years as a director and dramaturg in various, also transdisciplinary productions at the Berlin Off-theater.
