Amina Eisner

Amina Eisner was born in Berlin in 1990. After completing her Abitur, she studied acting and directing for drama at Liverpool John Moores University. At the Ballhaus Naunynstraße she worked as an assistant director on various productions including Kings (Director: Nora Abdel Maksoud). Together with Thandi Sebe, Amina Eisner wrote her first play, Jung, giftig und Schwarz, they also co-directed its premiere. In June 2019 she completed her master’s in dramatic writing at the Drama Centre London (Central Saint Martins). Amina Eisner lives in Berlin and works freelance – in German and English – as an actor and author. Amina Eisner has been part of the drama ensemble at the Stadttheater Gießen since the beginning of the 2022/2023 season.
At the Maxim Gorki Theatre she took on the role of the first-person narrator in the production of 1000 SERPENTINEN ANGST directed by Anta Helena Recke in the 2021/2022 season.
