He completed his studies in the Department of Drama and Acting at Istanbul Aydın University in 2017. After graduation, he studied Chekov and Meisner's technique in Berlin, where he also obtained his master's degree. He received training in the directing and production workshop of Frank Castrof for Les Misarables. He studied acting and directing at the University of Arts in Berlin. In February 2019, he founded Germinal Theater, which operates between Istanbul and Berlin. For his performance in Passport or Passport or Reisepass, the first play of Germinal Theater, he was nominated as the most successful young artist of the year at the 24th Yapı Kredi Afife Theatre Awards. Ahmet İlker Ergin continues to work between Germany and Turkey.
