Abdelrahman Elbashir is an architect and researcher born in Al Damazin in Sudan. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the University of Khartoum. Currently he is completing a master’s degree at the Graz University of Technology and working on his thesis »Deferred Action: A Retrospective Archeology for the Cinema of Sudan« supervised by Prof. Milica Tomić (Institute for Contemporary Art, Graz University of Technology) and Prof. Pierre-Alain Croset (Politecnico di Milano). Abdelrahman Elbashir has exhibited works related to his research in Graz and Belgrade.
