Collective Dancing to Stay Alive is an invitation to reflect on the importance of gathering and collaboration among women in order to grapple with loneliness, precarity, and violence. The lecture performance gives insights into the seminal work of eleven Latin American performance artists Nirlyn Seijas has been researching for the past years. Seijas will speak about her own embodied research practice and the experiences she had when bodily re-activating the dances and performances of these artists.
