She engaged in a large number of curatorial projects on all continents: BE.BOP Black Europe Body Politics, Días Hábiles, Pares & Nones, Folding the Caribbean. She was also a very prolific writer and she has published on several journals and reviews in different countries and languages.
As part of the current Herbstsalon, Alanna Lockward's Archive presents her work as well as her Berlin library. In order to further engage with her work, we wish to invite everyone to a public reading of some of her writings. By reading and listening, discovering and discussing, we wish to keep her legacy alive through her own words.
After the reading, we have the possibility to share some memories over some drinks in Gorki's Kantine.
The reading will be in English.
