Eight people from different regions in Turkey, all waiting to go to Germany. A vocabulary of 650 words, however, is a requirement for the visa. For Ayşe, Ibrahim, Nur, Soner, Hayriye, Halil, Zelal and Naime, this language course is a journey to their loved ones.
In the movie, they talk about their lives, how they met their partners, how they dream of a future in Germany - together with their families. Through tales, visions and stories of loss we encounter fates that also tell of the complicated relations between two countries.
