Every two years Amnesty International in Germany honours individuals and organizations who stand up for human rights under difficult conditions with the Human Rights Award. The aim of the award is to not only acknowledge their commitment but also support and protect them and raise public awareness of their work. In 2024, the prize will go to FEDEPESAN, a Colombian fishers’ federation.
