Manuela Boatcă

Manuela Boatcă ist Professorin für Soziologie mit Schwerpunkt Makrosoziologie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Sie arbeitet an Weltsystemanalysen, postkolonialen und dekolonialen Perspektiven, Gender in Modernität / Kolonialität und der Geopolitik des Wissens in Osteuropa und Lateinamerika. Sie ist Autorin von Global Inequalities beyond Occidentalism (Ashgate 2015) und Mitherausgeberin (mit E. Gutiérrez Rodríguez und S. Costa) von Decolonizing European Sociology. Transdisciplinary Approaches (Ashgate 2010).
