Max Czollek was born in 1987 in Berlin where he is still living. After he has finished his studies in politic sciences, he graduated at the TU Berlin, at The Center for Research on Antisemitism.
Together with Sasha Marianna Salzmann he curated »Desintegration. Ein Kongress zeitgenössischer jüdischer Positionen« (May 2016). In the current season he is the curator of the Radikale jüdischen Kulturtage happening in November 2017 at Studio Я, Maxim Gorki Theater.
Since 2009 he is working with the Lyrikkollektiv G13 and curator of »Babelsprech«, an international lyric project.
Besides he is part of the editor-collective Jalta – Positionen zur jüdischen Gegenwart.
His two poetry collections Druckkammern (2012) and Jubeljahre (2015) as well as his e-book A.H.A.S.V.E.R (2016) were published at Verlagshaus Berlin.
Together with Robert Prosser and Michael Fehr, Max publishes Jetzt 3. Babelsprech (Wallstein, Berlin 2015) and with Sasha Marianna Salzmann Desintegration. Ein Kongress zeitgenössischer jüdischer Positionen (2017, Kerber Verlag). Max Czollek's third volume of poetry Grenzwerte will be published by Verlagshaus Berlin in September 2019.
