How can resistance be represented with artistic means in a world where information has become more important than experience itself? Masses of videos and pictures followed the protests in Gezi Park in 2013, but the sense of lack caused by losing stories in a time of information overload persists. Zeyno Pekünlü travels back to the beginning of narrative. On this journey she uses humanity's oldest story-telling tool: the voice.

Zeyno Pekünlü's works explore the fragility of the identities that society ascribes to individuals. She rearranges their symbols to take the meanings spun around these attributed identities to absurd lengths.
