For a new workshop project at Gorki X we are looking for interested participants between 17 and 27 years.

Making History is our new workshop with film, dance, research and performance that will be produced together with young people in Berlin, which traces the migrant, revolutionary and political agenda, historiography and narrative in Berlin. 

We take you to various exemplary places in the city where we look at the intertwinings and continuations of history. Question of who writes history, who makes it and whose stories we remember will be negotiated using different media formats for artistic expression: film, video reportage, dance and performance.

Under the guidance of artists and experts, you can follow your research and production of content, politics and art. The participating artists and experts are Modjgan Hashemian, Sofia Hamaz, Mehmet Can Kocak, Shirin Begum and Veronika Gerhard. 

The production period is September and October 2018. The first workshop meeting is on 17.09.18 at 5 pm in the Maxim Gorki Theater. The workshop presentations will take place on October 18 and 19, 2018 in the Maxim Gorki Theater within the framework of the War or Peace Festival.
