Vor einem Jahr verstarb am 9. Dezember 2017 der großartige Künstler Damian Le Bas. 
Damian war mit seinem Kunstwerk Safe European Home? und der Ausstellung Romany History X maßgeblich am 1. und 3. Berliner Herbstsalon beteiligt. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Delaine Le Bas war Damian verantwortlich für Malerei und Artwork in der Inszenierung Roma Armee, die die Spielzeit 2017/2018 am Gorki eröffnete.
Damian war die Seele der Roma Armee und Vorbild im künstlerisch-aktivistischen Kampf gegen Rassismus und Antiziganismus.

Heute gedenken wir einem großartigen Künstler und inspirierenden Mitstreiter, einen feinfühligen und stets warmherzigen Freund. 
Unsere Gedanken und unsere Anteilnahme sind heute bei seiner lieben Frau Delaine und seinem Sohn Damian James Le Bas.

One year ago, on December 9th 2017, the great artist Damian Le Bas passed away.
With his artwork Safe European Home? as well as the exhibition Romani History X, Damian made a significant contribution to both the 1st and 3rd Berliner Herbstsalon. Together with his wife Delaine Le Bas, Damian was responsible for the painting and artwork in the production Roma Armee, which premiered at the Gorki in 2017. Damian was the soul of Roma Armee and a role model of artistic activism fighting against racism and antiziganism.

Today we commemorate a great artist and inspiring friend
Our thoughts are with his wife Delaine and his son Damian James Le Bas.
