»Don’t forget there are mothers on the other side, too.« Israeli playwright Maya Arad Yasur wrote this text right after Hamas executed their terrorist attack on October 7th, 2023. The play’s title question asks, how to remain a humanist after a massacre? Especially when pain and rage are about to
overwhelm them, it is imperative that Israelis and Palestinians, Palestinians and Israelis hold onto this. The question will be addressed in a post-performance discussion as well. It affects all of us.
