Karagiozis bei den Thermopylen

The barbarians are at the gates of Thermopylae. They’ve already taken the ports in Greece, soon they will conquer the whole country. As Brecht said: »Unfortunate country that is in need of heros.« What about the land that has already eaten up their heros? Achilles still needs his pedicure, Odysseus is still on the way, Alexander the Great has a fever and great Alexis is already quite pale. Torn between yes, or no, or yes, or no. If you are stuck and don't know what to do, it is worth taking a breath and look back. And just before you finally give up, he is there. The hero emerges from the shadows, ready for the final assault. Karagiozis, just an Asian import, a shady guy with questionable humor, takes a running start on his way to rescue Greece – an exercise in futility? Barbarians all over the place. There are banks but no gas. Maybe you prefer to duck and let the marketing department solve the rest? Betrayal or wellness, who wants to distinguish?
