Lea Draeger

 

Lea Draeger was born in Münster in 1980 and studied at the Academy of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. After an engagement at the Bochum Theatre, she became an ensemble member of the Schaubühne Berlin, where she has worked with Thomas Ostermeier and Michael Thalheimer, among others. In 2010 she won the Daphne Prize, Berlin’s audience award, in the Best Young Actress category. In 2011 she appeared in Falk Richter’s Rausch, her fourth collaboration with this director. Apart from the theatre, she also appears in film and TV productions and is a visual artist.
