Kathrin Frosch

Kathrin Frosch studied Theatre Design at the Slade Academie of Fine Art in London. Since 1994 she is a freelance artist for film, TV and theatre. She has worked at Staatstheater Hannover, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Konzerttheater Bern, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Deutschen Theater Berlin, Oper Basel und Schauspiel Frankfurt. She was head of stage design at Maxim Gorki Theater in 2007/08. Between 2003 and 2011 she was responsible for developing the visual room concept for the Theatertreffen.
She collaborated with Felicitas Brucker, Konsanze Lauterbach, Andreas Kriegenburg, Karin Henkel, Christoph Schlingensief, Armin Petras, Sebastian Baumgarten, Nurkan Erpulat and Lars-Ole Walburg.
The annual survey of critics of Theater heute has nominated Kathrin Frosch several times for best stage design.
